This was back around August 26th, we are on the road again headed from Ontanagon Mi. to Munising, Mi. to visit Pictured Rocks National Lake shore. Only about a 4 hr. drive unless you are Roy and Belinda, in which case it takes 8 or 9 hrs. because we love to rubber neck.

Agate falls, just a little roadside park on hwy. 28 in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. That's a rail road bridge overhead.

This guy was fly fishing just below the falls.

We stopped at a lot of these little pull outs.

Belinda snapped a picture of some of the traffic we saw along the way.

We had to stop here. It was a hoot!

They had a lot of crazy stuff here. This thing had a car motor in it, and it runs.

Cool!

Notice the deer driving the jeep.

This was over a bench at the store entrance.

I wonder why the didn't spray the wasp nest. They just put a sign up.

Arriving Munising , Mi.

We went on a 3 hr. tour of the Pictured Rocks on the larger boat to the left.

It was cool once we got out onto Lake Superior, sweatshirt weather.

This was a wonderful tour, it is hard to capture the full thing with pictures, but here they are.

This is the old Munising bay light house, no longer in use but preserved for a museum.

This is were we camped in Munising. The Casino had a nice place to park with hookups.

Stopped for a beer at the American Legion in Munising. We bought some smoked Lake Superior salmon while we were in Munising. It was delicous. We head to Sault St. Marie next to see the Soo Locks etc.
