Here we are the evening before we left for the U.S. we were welcoming Clark home.

Our house got a new paint job last week.

We are on our way, the trip started out on a bad note but the rest of the trip went perfect with no problems. We got busted by the motorcycle cop from Chapala with shiney boots and spurrs. No license plate on the car trailer. No Problem! $1400 pesos will fix anything. We got on our way about 1 1/2 hrs. late but had a great trip from there on.
Narrow crooked road entering San Louis Potosi. The new highway from Lagos De Marino to San Louis Potosi is now open but you have to be careful or you will end up on this road that leads into San Louis. It was OK, but Belinda said it was a white knuckle road.

It was a little crooked and narrow, but it was very scenic.

Hotel Las Palmas has a campground on the property. It is very nice, with great clean showers. It's in Methuala, Mex.

Here we are parked at Las Palmas ready to go in the morning.

Crooked steep highway near Saltillo. The red lines lead to a run away ramp.

Only in Mexico. These guys are cool, notice the safety helmet.

Rugged mountains near Monterrey.

Cardboard police cars, from a distance these things look like the real thing.

Near the border, a statue of oil rig workers.

Here we are at the border, only about a 15 min. wait to cross. All they did is have us pull to the side and came aboard and did a small inspection and we were gone. A  very easy crossing, the best in a long while.

We are at home. We have been busy, getting the motor home ready for out trip to Texas. We leave tomorrow morning and will be in Texas until June 1. We will return to Mexico for about a month and then back to Texas and continue on with the motor home to Wisconsin, Michigan and Indiana for visits with family. We will be leaving the motor home and car in Texas when we return in June and take the bus. When we return in September we will bring the car and motor home back to Mexico. We'll be busy and having fun. Should be able to post some interesting pictures on our travels.

Belinda teaching a hair cutting class at the New Look Salon, she is standing with her friend and owner of the salon, Julietta

That's Susanah our friend, we were invited to a party to greet her son who was visiting from New York.

More golf, can't get enough.

Our Monday evenings at cafe, Mariscos Lety, we usually meet there at 6 PM on Mondays.

Our friends and golfing buddies Brooks and Mary

Wow! it looks like all we do is go out to eat. This is at Birriria Chololo a great restaurant where they serve goat meat birriria. It's one of our favorites. With us are our friends and neighbors, Juan Pablo and Kathleen

Birrieria Chololo is very popular especially on weekends. Most of the time there are several Mariachi bands playing.

This is on the highway in Colima, Mexico. In the background is Colima Mtn. It is an active Volcano, You can see the steam at the top of the mountain.
I am sorry that I did not blog sooner, not that I have not been trying. When we got home we had a new modom installed and it would not allow me to post pictures.
We are now home in San Antonio Tlyacapan, El Parque.

When we got home we had the front bumper of the motor home painted. It was pitted from sun and salt.

Golf is what we do when we are at home, here our friend Mary is putting with Brooks, myself and our caddy Poncho looking on.

Belinda took this from one of the many flower beds at the golf course.

Some of the houses around the golf course.

Lots of beautiful birds at the golf course

Roy most likely missing a putt.

The Jacarandas trees are in full bloom.
